Sara Matos nasceu em Lisboa, em 1986. Licenciada em Audiovisual e Multimédia, pela Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, desenvolveu sempre o gosto pela fotografia, acabando por enveredar pelo fotojornalismo. Estagiou no jornal Público, passou também pelo Diário de Notícias, trabalhando actualmente como freelancer. Colabora regularmente com o semanário Sol, Jornal de Negócios, Diário Económico e a Delta Magazine.

Sara Matos was born in 1986 in Lisbon, where she lives. She graduated in Audiovisual and Multimedia at Escola Superior de Comunicação Social  where she developed a taste for photography and decided to work in photojournalism.
She did an internship at the Portuguese newspaper Público, has worked at Diário de Notícias, and is currently working as a freelance photojournalist. Sara often publishes in national newspapers and magazines such as: Sol, Diário Económico, Jornal de Negócios and Delta Magazine.
